Today is the twentieth anniversary of my emigration to the United States. I just wanted to mark the occasion.

Not to completely gloss over your emigration anniversary, because it's definitely an occasion worth commemorating, but yeah.[ask] me about being a pop culture cuisinart

lol, it's a good thing I didn't emigrate to Los Angeles, then, and especially not on April 29, 1992 XD

Fun fact: the Pantry, that diner across from the Staples Center ~~to which I didn't get to take you, boo~~ only closed twice in its entire history (since 1924). The LA Riots was one of those instances.
